Achiltibuie art.

These amazing woven cushions were purchased last August at the Achilitbiue Aritsts pop up gallery by my daughter. 

The weaving is done on a circular frame which is apparently fairly unique. One is now on display in the Aberdeen Gallery of Scottish arts.  Apparently the weaver had made one for her son but his dog had eaten it!
Grace couldn’t resist buying both and they now adorn ‘our’ new sofa bed when we stay in Bristol. I think they are fabulous.

It was damp when we walked to church this morning but we left all that behind on our drive down to Bristol this afternoon in glorious weather. Hopefully more of the same tomorrow.
Eda was very excited to see us.
