Preparing for a long winter

...of binge watching? We don't know what the new social restrictions will be. They will be announced tomorrow. A winter of watching TV, streaming services and DVDs seems likely. I am worried about the cost of heating if we spend more time at home.

My feeling is that I will go to work as usual. Until it proves impossible.

In the meantime, a sunny day at work was followed by a meeting with a friend in a pub garden and a walk to the supermarket. I am trying to get my socialising in while we are still allowed.

Back home, Steve cooked supper, but I still managed to smash a glass jar on the kitchen floor, and burn pitta bread so badly that the smoke alarm was triggered .

No further news on my mother's husband.
