Getting to Grips!

It is Euan's birthday weekend, he is one year old tomorrow, and he and his Daddy are full of cold and feeling a bit sorry for themselves.  So we had a 'cheer up Euan' Skype with him this morning and managed to get a few smiles from him, and some great drumming, with Granny joining in with her cake tin.  Let's hope they are both feeling better tomorrow for his presents, and that Mummy doesn't catch it!

It was a processing afternoon with Tony picking the pears, some of the scabbed Howgate Wonder apples, more beans, two batches of tomatoes and all of the remaining sweetcorn (some of which went to neighbours as he walked back down from the allotment!)  So we now have tomato soup, corn cobs and beans in the freezer, and stewed apple in the fridge ready for apple pies.

I had a lazy couple of hours watching the Women's Road Race in Italy on the television, but sadly Lizzie Deignan wasn't able to go with the breakaway group and finished in sixth place, still very impressive but probably not what she wanted.

I've downloaded the NHS App but I doubt I will be going anywhere to trigger it.....
