What a difference . . .

. . . a day makes! After a lovely fine, sunny day yesterday, today . . . miserable.

Never mind. Two books arrived today - books we had made. Gordon is very pleased with his Hadrian's Wall Path book, as he has been able to keep a record of his walk with all the things that matter, the transport he used, the people he met etc. alongside all his pictures. He even has his own map there.

My book is yet another in my series of family albums - 1998. A book that records our first years in the new house, the walks we did, often with friends and always with dogs, and so many memories of family events and holidays. We are both very pleased with the quality of the book processing and the efficiency of the service.

I am now waiting for a lecture to start - the Goldsmiths' Prize Lecture, given this year by Bernadine Evaristo.
