ORCHIDS

Usual sort of day today - walk to village  and shopping in Tesco and Herons.  Neither was busy.

Weather has been dull and windy today  -  I think it had rained earlier - but it was dry while I was out.

Following the lead of blip friend CarolineJay I decided to buy a reduced price orchid in Tesco.  It was the only one left - neglected in a corner and reduced from £8 to £ 2.80.  The flowers were droopy but soon perked up after a drink at home.  Hopefully they will last a while.  I haven't had great success in the past with orchids but maybe I will have better luck with this one.
