Eda the helper.

This morning Eda was helping mummy with Jude’s nappy change. As this is when she is most awake we also planned that she could help with bathing Jude as today was not a nursery day for Eda.

Didn’t work out that way as a friend of Grace’s came to call with a gift for Jude. Lovely except she came with a 16 month old who was more like a whirlwind than a toddler. She had everything out and thrown around and we were warned to move the puzzles if they were cardboard as she would eat them!
We put the stair gate on as she was good at going up but not down stairs, good job or she would have had Eda’s bedroom upside down too.

Later we did make it out to the playing fields across the road so Eda could play on her bike, she’s very good. It was pleasant and sunny with great mackerel skies but pretty windy. Lots of leaves around already.

We had to be back as after lunch the girls other Granny was visiting. Later I looked after Jude whilst Eda watched Pinocchio. What a bizarre film that is when you come to really look at it! I’m sure it would be censored now.

Mummy started making chicken and mushroom pie for tea and then daddy made letters to make it into an EDA pie. She helped him put them on and do the egg wash, in a Tiger suit of course!
It was delicious and she loved it!

Another ‘full on’ day, thankfully my cold is much improved.
