Ingeborg has suggested a Kitchen Abstract for this week's AT challenge. Fortunately as so often happens my Editor helped me with my choice of subject.
This is an Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) shot of a whisk with a stripey handle lying on a wooden table, taken with rotational camera movement during a 1-second exposure. Colour and contrast-type tweaks (clarity & dehaze) have been applied in processing but otherwise it's straight out of camera. I thought that the wires of the whisk (which are free at their ends) produced an appearance rather like painting with light.
It looks best large.
We really enjoyed looking at the Silly Saturday entries last weekend. We can see how Admirer enjoyed hosting the challenge so much! Choosing our Hearts and Honourable Mentions was certainly not easy. However in the end we decided on the following, in no particular order:

A vertiginous cat: Just Hanging Around by Freuchie
A funny mock-up of a famous old photo by Max Dupain: Sunbakers by SeriousFrolic
