A Stratford day

We turned off the lights at 10pm last night and I was asleep in minutes. By 6am I had had 8 hours sleep so pretty awake, but still managed to doze until 7. It just wasn't right waking at 6 on a saturday, never mind a holiday!

We walked up the road to an antique place which was interesting to browse, then back for coffee. Then in to Stratford for a wander, a cheap lunch by the RSA Theatre by the river. More wandering where Jon got a bargain suit in White Stuff and we had tea and cakes in a lovely old coffee shop. It was busy everywhere and we obviously wore our masks and tried to keep away from people, but other than that it was like normal. We did a bit of geocashing and found 3, and had a ice wander along by a canal and series of locks. A bit of rain but it didn't spoil it.

Back to the caravan and have ordered an indian takeaway, so will head back to Strayford shortly. Then plan to watch Mission Impossible tonight. TV has always been a no no for us when we have been on holiday before....but things change and there was a spare tv at home when Henry upgraded, so at 9pm tonight we plan to be tucked up under the duvet with wine and a good film!!
