Tools of the Trade Two

Another one for the Rippingale Photographic Group November theme of  ‘Tools of the trade’.

This was my fathers spoke shave.  He was a carpenter - I’m afraid that I’m not.  I never know which welding rod to use, can never strike a spark but if I do the whole d**n thing catches fire - useless stuff . . .

Again this is virtually SOTC, other than cropping.  Truly wide angle though as it was taken with the lens at 28mm.

It would have been taken at 15mm with my Sigma 15-20 on my old Canon 7D, but the 7D decided to throw an ‘Error 80’ when I tried to use it.  It hasn’t been used since November last year and the battery was flat, so I don’t know if that caused the problem.  Whatever, error 80 appears to be the CPU or close by circuitry, which will need specialist attention.  Muggins has not got the test equipment or access to parts that may be needed.  For the moment the 7D is dead as a doornail.  Will it be worth the cost of repair one asks??

Many thanks to Bob for hosting WidWed.
