It was even greyer today, Alaric completely invisible. Still not cold. We decided to go to the local restaurant for lunch. Both menu and price have been slimmed down for the winter: no-choice three courses for 19 euros. It was excellent as usual: pork rillettes with tarragon, shepherd's pie made with shredded confit of duck, lemon cheesecake.

When we arrived, there were just two customers finishing their meal, a pair of local winemakers. As we started dessert, a couple of Catalans arrived and seated themselves in the dark corner next to the toilets. As we left we noted they'd arrived in a spanking new Maserati. S suggested they might be Barcelona mafiosi trying to be discreet. Still, the restaurant's reputation is obviously spreading.

Yep, another emergency blip. Sun is due to come out on Saturday.
