A Break in the Pattern

... with thanks to Ingeborg for the prompt for this week's Abstract Thursday challenge. This began as a line-up of four forks, with a gap between the third and fourth, of which I took two photos just of the prongs and spliced them together to create my abstract. Also increased the contrast a little and tweaked the colour slightly.

Today Mr PP and I were very excited to have our first professional haircuts for over nine months. A hairdresser friend of our son-in-law's mum came to the house and (observing all required rules) gave us each a trim. We are very happy to have a good shape restored to our heads.

In the afternoon we went with our daughter and grand-daughter to a local garden centre cafe for lunch (very well organised) and had a masked-mooch around the seasonal displays (see Extra). Little Miss B walks very well on reins (first time I've experienced this), though she rode in her pushchair for most of the time. (When I say 'seasonal', it's somewhat early for Christmas when we've not even had halloween yet.)
