Dunlin on Cleethorpes Beach

So today we headed over to Cleethorpes for a wander and just to see the sera while we can. They will be in Tier 2 tomorrow so that was our last chance for a while...

We had a good walk along the beach, got caught in a rain shower, took loads of photos, ate delicious fish and chips, did yet more walking and then came home.

I have included an extra of...something! I'm not sure what it is! It looks very ramshackle yet has been decorated in a colourful way. I'd thought it was an old building maybe being used as shelter by a homeless person, but Brian says it would partially be in the sea at high tide, so that seems unlikely. Still someone has made an effort with it.

This evening we have watched Super League rugby, including the best match I have seen this season between our team, Wigan Warriors and our biggest local rivals Saint Helens. derby games tend to be brutal competitive encounters and this was no exception! Wigan won eventually - the first time for six encounters with Saints, so about time!
