A Day In The Life

Still Water

Another unusually warm day sent us to the river to take in all of its sights and sounds. Of course the primary draw was seeing our eagle friend again, but we’ve learned that timing is everything • It was not meant to be for eagles or ospreys, and it appears the cormorants have moved on to winter elsewhere too. Not even a duck made an appearance, but there were plenty of seagulls enjoying the gifts of this tidal river • The water this morning was still without a hint of current. This shot gives you an idea of November’s disappearing foliage and the trees many eagles favor that line the river’s edge • It certainly was a mighty fine day!
