kwchas at the blipmeet

This morning kwchas  and I had a two person socially distanced blipmeet.  We have been following each other for years but this was the first time that we've met up in person rather than virtually.
 As he had been to Shrewsbury he called in at Colemere where we had a walk. It was a most enjoyable morning and I do hope that we'll do it again when conditions are easier.

We saw at least four pairs of goosander and two great crested grebes on the water.  Unfortunately they were too far away for decent shots but I got a photo of a grebe with a fish in it's beak.

There is an extra photo of kwchas taken from a bridge that he was about to photograph and one of a canal boat whose owner was cutting and gathering wood.
