A SPLASH OF COLOUR

A very wet day today.

The workmen for the roof turned up just as I was starting my Monday Tai Chi session.  No problem as Hubby dealt with all of that.  Those poor men fixing our garage roof in this awful weather.  Still it is only a small roof, not too high and they had waterproofs on.  Hubby says will have done work in much worse conditions, but I did feel sorry for them.

They worked very hard, only took one tea break in their van.  Then one had to go to Ulverston to bring back the correct ridge tiles (wrong ones were given to them apparently) but the other carried on working.  They had a short lunch break and carried on.  All finished by 3.00 pm.  They just have to come back to pick up a drill they've left on the roof and dismantle and take away the scaffolding.

I did try to go out for a walk about 1.30 when it looked like it was brightening up.  I got about 5 minutes walk away when the heavens opened again, so I grabbed a quick photo of the lovely winter jasmine in a neighbour's garden and beat a hasty retreat home.

HELP PLEASE FROM ANYONE IN GRANGE WHO MAY HAVE USED THE BUPA DENTAL SERVICE - IS IT ANY GOOD?  Our lockdown visitor is in need of a dental service and although Kendal Hospital told him to go back if no improvement they now won't let him!!  We know it's likely to be somewhat pricey but for a one off (we hope) treatment we thought at least he could be seen.

Many thanks for all stars, hearts and comments, always very much appreciated.

Take care, stay safe and see you all tomorrow.
