Turning point

Into December....and another day in the office, with a couple of face to face meetings which were useful. One with L involved us discussing future plans and wondering how to coordinate our decisions and comms. Gulp!
One of the team had brought in a tray of doughnuts and I had one....probably my sugar allowance for the month!
Ended the day with a mentoring session with new person. Really enjoyed our chat....so lovely to talk to someone at the very start of their career full of plans and hopes, although daunting how tough it is for them now. Hopefully I can help her navigate a way through.
As I left the office late I noticed colours across the square so went over to have a look and found these illuminated trees...no idea why but looked quite pretty. Decided to take a longer way home and walked through and round the Meadows...full of people running and exercising and playing tennis!
Home and chats with Mt and A, deciding to do a secret Santa approach to presents this year where we each buy just one other person a present rather than all get each other something. Good idea, although have to negotiate the idea and the price limit carefully with them all, but will help cut down the cost and the frenzy which is good. Felt like we needed to make a change. Whilst talking to A we ended up having a coordinated dance around our kitchens to the regulation Mariah Carey given that it’s now December....both ended up collapsed laughing!
