Old and New

Leaves on our plum tree. The morning sun caught the old burned leaf and I noticed the new growth sprouting behind it.

The Christmas tree has made it into the house and has lights and a few ornaments on it. Most of the ornaments are round baubles and I'm hoping they don't look too much like balls to Spike. I was careful not to put them on the tree when Spike was watching. Now we'll wait a day or so and see what he does...

Both dogs' attention seemed to be elsewhere when I took the picture in extras....
