Favourite Beauty Spot #2

I'm going to try to sum up today as quickly as I can as it is past midnight and I've already been falling asleep over my keyboard!

The day started an hour earlier than yesterday. G just had one lesson, so we were back home soon enough after we called in at Spinneys to pick up a few things.

We discovered that an outlet that does delicious samosas has closed the branch we normally buy from. Another one bites the dust as they say. It's so sad!

In the afternoon, we met up with our group of "Old Friends" except with COVID restrictions, only six of us could meet up. We decided to have one get together to celebrate all our birthdays. It was the first time that some of us have met up this year. Crazy!

We started at the Sol Sky Bar which is where my blip is from, and like we did for G's birthday, we walked over and took a water taxi to the other side. Shabnam joined us at our dinner venue where we once again, enjoyed BBQ'd food, good music and some great company. We also exchanged gifts!

We parted ways here with three of us getting taxis home and G, Diane and me racing back to catch the last water taxi back to Al Seef. We made it with just a couple of minutes to spare!
