Low Down

Despite yesterday evening's red sky, today was as grey as ever. I saw these leaves on the ice and thought maybe I could use them as foreground in a wider shot.

Of course, this required focus stacking to get everything in sharp focus and exposure blending to get detail in the sky. In my precarious position low to the ice, I think I got a bit confused about what each shot was for and didn't quite get the coverage I hoped for.

Anyway, I blended two of the shots in PS with a mask and it turned out not too bad. I'll have to try another!
