I think these are daffodils but I can't be sure. Last Spring - when I moved in - seems a very long while ago indeed, but I look forward to these blooming whatever they are!

I had a good time at the Climbing Station in Loughborough this morning, but the journey home took almost twice as long as it should've due to a broken down lorry at the junction of the M1 and A50. Chaos!

When I first saw the long queue of mostly lorries I had the irrational thought that it was something to do with Kent, but not even that jam would've spread to the East Midlands. With regard to that particular mess, I can't imagine that shutting the borders will keep the new Covid strain out of Europe, anyway it's probably already there.
