White Christmas

I walked around the village delivering my handmade Christmas cards this morning. It was snowing quite heavily and by the time I returned home,  when I took the selfie, the snow had covered my footprints from my outward journey. Later the sun came out, see extra, and it all looked really pretty. It hardly got above freezing all day and hence there was very little thaw. When I went to shut the hens in about 4pm it was very crunchy underfoot, our footprints in the garden had become little ice patches.
Barry had finished in the sitting room and the sewing room so I was able to put it all back together and have a bit of a tidy and dust around, while he took the Christmas cards a bit further afield and walked Reg with him.
As I hadn't bought Barry a gift for Christmas I have sewn him a red heart Christmas decoration today. Luckily he likes those sort of things! Hopefully with that and his card I made yesterday he will not feel too neglected!
I hope all my blip friends have had a good Christmas Eve and will enjoy their day tomorrow however they are celebrating.
Happy Christmas everybody
