Wound up in Wexford

Doing the goose step

These two geese had just held up a car by loitering on the little minor road past High Ash Farm, before retreating into the yard.  I couldn't have taken this photo deliberately, of course, it was a total fluke.  But you can see why the marching step is called goose stepping!  This photo was taken at the same place as the one on Christmas day.

We went out for a nice little amble around the roads and paths around High Ash Farm.  Cold, but no rain, though the paths were still very muddy in places.

In extras is some of the damage caused by the torrential rain just before Christmas.

We got back just at the right time - we had hot bread straight out of the breadmaker with our cheese for lunch.  Followed by a slice of our rather nice chocolatey Christmas cake.
