Jonty, Vulcan and sad MX-5

Happy new year, although the MX5 Mk4 (RF) at the top of the photo doesn't look too happy, in fact there are tears coming from the headlights because of the tier 4 restrictions meaning she can't go out without a very good, essential, reason!
Funnily enough, after the RAF connection coincidence yesterday, I posted this on the MX-5 forum, but showing the registration plate, and another Gloucester MX-5'er said he knows the couple that own it!
At the bottom you've got Jonty's early morning walk, cold but a very pleasant new years day walk. He doesn't often wear his coat but there was a bit of light icy sleet coming down. Takes me back a few years to my original blips which often featured aircraft, particularly the Avro Vulcan B Mk2 XH558 which was the only flying Vulcan until October 2015 when it was grounded, mostly through withdrawal of support by the big sponsors. A terrible shame but she is still on display, and the occasional fast taxy run, at Robin Hood Airport, formerly RAF Finningley where she was based on squadrons during the Cold War period.
She has quite a history, which I wrote into a small booklet but never bothered to publish it.
