Maybe they will be the post-Covid master race. You know,  like planet of the apes, only cats. The tabbies would undoubtedly be the leaders and the black cats would be the militia. The emperor cat would be one of those white long hairs like Blofeld had in James Bond, and those weird hairless ones would be the evil cat scientists ...

Finished reading “Another Now” by Yanis Varoufakis. Fantastic and rather unusual little book, definitely needs re-reading. Basically a tale of two parallel universes and their brief moment of connection, which gives the writer a chance to compare our crazy world with one which is  not perfect but rather less crazy. Varoufakis is essentially an agent provocateur, economist and one time politician, and this is a Jonathan Swift style diatribe that he is using to put across his views on how the world could be made less dysfunctional. Recommended.
