A Garden Sunset

I was editing the photo I'd taken today and wasn't happy with it, so I was pleased to see this beautiful sunset just starting up. Another quiet day today, I spent 4 hours sorting through 5 box files of guarantees and user manuals, getting rid of the ones where I no longer own the product and re-sorting them.......this is going to feel like a long lockdown!!! I also replaced the radiator pipe covers hiding the horrible micro-bore pipes.

Day 301 / Day 6 of Lockdown 3 (for my record only)
UK deaths up 563 to 81,431 (revised basis), with 54,940 new cases, 32,294 patients in hospital, 3,098 on ventilation and 4,066 new admissions (a new record). The Chief Exec of the College of Paramedics says that ambulances are waiting up to 9 hours to offload patients at London hospitals. In London, firefighters and police officers are being used to drive ambulances. 130,000 letters have been sent to the over 80s living between a 30-45 min drive from one of the 7 new regional vaccination centres. The letters were delayed due to virus related staffing issued at Royal Mail. There are some reports of concerns by those invited who can't drive and would have to go by public transport and would rather wait for a local jab, but having this option isn't clear in the letter (it is an option). The Health Secretary says that every adult will have been offered a vaccine by Autumn. Ocado warns that there might be increasing missed or substituted items in online shopping due to food producers cutting the number of product lines to cope with staff sickness / self isolation.
