U.S. Capitol West Front Inauguration Platform

Today I tried to take a shot of BLM Square in front of the White House, but there was no way to get there. As far as we could find, all the streets and sidewalks within three blocks of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue were obstructed with snow plows and tall fences. All of the buildings we drove past were boarded up.
We switched gears and drove, instead, to the Capitol Building. We saw police cars in every block,  police officers on foot and on bicycles. Police cruisers were parked in the right lane of every street, forcing all travel into a single lane.
At the capitol, we found parking by the American Indian Museum. This is a shot of the west front, where the inaugural platform has been erected and is ready for the ceremony on the twentieth. There is a tall fence around the building, and members of the National Guard are stationed behind it. The extra is a view of some of the long lines of police cruisers surrounding the capitol.
Both are handheld pano merged in LR.
