Tiny

Inspecting the Hamamelis (two) in the garden this morning I was delighted  to find tiny coloured buds opening. I had seen a yellow one a week or two ago but was more concerned about the red which was a new purchase last year to replace one that had died.
In past years they have featured on blip in full flower by now but as long as they come it doesn’t matter when.
A lovely but frosty morning and I liked the tiny droplets the frost had created on the developing snowdrops too.

On my return walk from the village, a quick trip to the pharmacy and post office, I passed the bus shelter and was surprised to see yellow crocus in flower. Nothing seems very logical at the moment, not sure why some things are early and others less so.

I had a Facetime time this morning with Grace and Jude who is becoming very vocal. (A lovely video of her ‘chatting’ away also came last night which I can watch over and over.) She was just getting ready to be walked down to the health centre clinic for her 16 week jabs. 16 weeks crazy! It was different to see her when it was quiet as Eda has gone back to nursery today, her first day in Pre-school, she was very excited. She’s not really preschool as being a September baby she will have another year over her July and August baby friends but the nursery felt she was confident enough and ready for the move. Hope she has a great time and it stays open.
