Book of Masks

This week we have two projects again. We are making accordion books called “Book of Masks.” The first portrait is a selfie in a mask. It must fill the page, 8 x 6 inches, and be a close-up with no space around the face. We can add other characters or things to express an aspect of who we are. I chose my cat mask and Cory nuzzling me. I took a photo of the two of us and several more of just me and ended up with this drawing. Next I will paint it. There were eight students in class today, pretty much the maximum to be able to critique everyone’s work.
