What’s Left....!!!

Of my lanterns....I don’t cut them down in the Autumn...cause I quite like what’s left with this delicate filigree shell with the small physalis inside..!
The garden is an absolute mess...so colorless and dreary....thought I might stay out and do a few ‘bits’ but it’s freezing so just did a few things quickly and came back inside...will busy myself with something else...I wish this miserable weather would even brighten up...!
I shouldn’t moan ...as thankfully I have nothing to complain about ...we must stay positive and hopeful...
