Meadow Wheat

Not the most pleasing composition, I agree, but I liked the soft background palette. A shot of a wildflower and meadow grass field margin, with seed heads and wheat ears still standing proudly and feeding the birds and small mammals through the winter.

A different 10km today, which took us onto bridleways where appropriately there were more horses being ridden than people walking. Even muddier in places, because of the horses, but nothing a good puddle can't wash off...

I found out during the walk that my brother over in South Wales has got Covid. He's not well, but hopefully he'll pull through without needing any technology. Coincidentally, Wales's first minister has commented on how many people over there are not following the lockdown rules...
