Aspects of a Day

The snow came as predicted when I wasn’t looking. Perhaps it came last night allowing some late bedders to make an army of snow men in the Meadows to watch me as I did my morning round early enough to wonder who had beaten me to it.
The sun came too, which lifts the spirits, and my bunch of daffodils on the window sill burst into bloom in thanks.
A lunch time zoom, another slushy walk and the sun is still shining.

I may have cracked my insomnia by tuning my beside radio from ClassicFM to Radio 4. There’s nothing like an earnest, political discussion to send me to sleep very quickly.

With a nudge from a fellow blipper, I am determined to have my glass half full from now on - I hope I can keep it up.
