New lakes!

It snowed last night with great big flakes.  I was hoping that it would be white over this morning but the rain had washed most of it away and then it froze - a very slippery combination!  At least the rain has stopped today.

I stayed in this morning and finished a waterolour painting - not good enough to blip I'm afraid.

This afternoon I went for my walk.  The rain yesterday and overnight had made the castle field into a pair of lakes so my blip is a comparison to yesterday's photo. 

Lots more local roads have been closed but I haven't heard that anyone's house has been flooded which is good.
