A nice day

Busy of course, but productive and felt positive.

We started with a lie in, then looked out of the window to find another sprinkling of snow overnight had left it looking pretty.

A few jobs once we were all up. Jon and Henry put up a bracket to fix the TV on the wall. It is loads better now. I cleaned the bathroom and Mollie did the ironing. Then we got all wrapped up in warm coats and boots and took a walk over to Felbrigg in the snow. There we had takeaway coffee and half a big shortbread biscuit each (we are dieting, not just too tight to buy one each!) Then a long walk back via the road. We were nearly home, but when negotiating the waterlogged track, first Mollie slipped and got a boot full of water, then I slipped and got both feet fully submerged way over my ankles, and then again as I struggled to get out. Meanwhile Henry took photos! Jon helped me and I sloshed the last 10 minutes home with cold wet feet!

Did a bit of sewing for hut STUFF - which has been slow to the point of almost going backwards - but we want to start planning again and picking up from where we left off in October. More tomorrow I hope, and also some candles to make.

This evening we had a zoom quiz with our best friends the Harvey's. It was so good that all 10 of us were able to take part, even with Dan from his flat in Cromer and Lily from hers in Brighton. We normally get together at Christmas but this year, of course it didn't happen and we really miss that fun night of quizzing, drinking eating and chatting together. This was the next best thing, but I can't wait until the day we are able to do it in person.

A bit of TV before bed.
