Memory test

Quite dreadful. We went out anyway as we had an appointment to view another house in Tenterden. We thought it might suit. It didn’t in the end. Too much to do which in other circumstances may not have been a problem. It would be too disruptive with Doreen with us.

After our picnic in the car in a deserted car park we went on another long (6.5 miles) walk around Tenterden casing out the town, discovering areas which were new to us. You have to put in the legwork to get under the skin of the place and know which areas appeal and which don’t. We know a whole lot more after the last two weekends.

It was with a touch of exasperation that when we got home there was an email from an estate agent with a property just on the market - we’d walked past the road earlier in the day. Somewhere to look next week.

Usual Saturday evening date, getting ourselves smart(er), aperitifs, fish pie tonight. Then we’ll watch Transatlantic Sessions from this year’s Celtic Connections. Seeing them in Brighton last February was the last concert we attended.

A blip for today was challenging. I thought it might be suitably silly context if I asked you to look at the shot for 30 seconds, then write down all the objects that you could remember (without going back to look). It could pass some time. Thanks for hosting Loisbiz

Thank you once again for your concern and kind comments. I’m feeling better although I can still sense the flutter and the heart rate remains higher than usual.
