This thing is part of The Plan, the rest of the bits being out in the rain. The Plan is needed because The Other Plan, see the last bit of this entry, hasn't worked and water is still seeping into/onto the garage floor.  

So now I've bought lengths of downpipe, joining bits and right angles and The Plan is that I'll run the pipe along the side of the garage next to the fence and the rainwater will run down the drive, which is on a bit of a slope, and into the road.  

I haven't actually done it yet because I need another joining bit doh, but fingers crossed. The bit in the photo is of course to stop leaves going down and bunging up the right angles.

PS it's raining... well of course it is!
