Sun and dung .....

Frosty again but not as cold as yesterday.
Cattle fed after a bit of a struggle reversing the feeder trailer into the shed thanks to the skating rink in the yard.
More kettles to defrost pipes and troughs .
DM in to look cattle for H&H. Might try some for the fat on Monday and maybe a trailer load of store blks next week. Will see what happens . Kev on mucking out, Ross on bedding. When they went home I took the last load of dung to the field. The Pentland hills looked like something out of the Alps as the sun was setting, but my iPod camera isn’t much use for far away things , so you will need to make do with a tractor Friday picture.
