Trig point walk

With Katy (me) and Colin (Mr C) today. We did 6 miles round the moor, going up to the trig point and through the woods to Rickety Gate, back round top carriage drive and home.

Disappointing news today. In September I went to the optician as I felt my reading vision was not as good as it had been when I’d first got the new post-cataract op. He thought I might have either capsule hazing or the start of glaucoma so wrote to my GP who referred me to the specialist unit at the RVI. They told me I would have to wait till March. Recently I’ve become aware of further deterioration so phoned to find out where I was on the list. Now I’m to wait 12 months. I have made an appointment to see my optician next week for advice. I know that if glaucoma is caught early enough it can be treated with eye drops. I don’t want to lose more sight while waiting.

Mr C has taken the van for its MOT. Hopefully Nicola will allow us over the Border by summer.
