That red head!

I finally manage to sit down for a few minutes after getting the hubby home from the hospital after his knee surgery yesterday when I happened to look up and there was this woodpecker.   I had to get the camera hoping it would not fly off.  There was not much left to the peanut butter and bird seed pine cones but it was trying to get the last little bit.  

I had to go to the pharmacy to get the pain meds so I stopped at the Walmart to get the real suet cakes.  Hoping this one will bring some friends by soon! 

Also the deer have been showing up in the yard and the woods behind the house so I stopped to get corn for the feeder.   

Having the deer and the birds will give hubby something to look at out the window as he recovers.    All is going really well and he has walked around the house and on the front porch.  He did sit outside in the sunshine for about 20 minutes as it was a glorious warm day.  He said it felt good with the sun on his face.  Me too!

Thanks for all the well wishes.  They are much appreciated!     Physical therapy starts Monday!   That will be a whole different kind of wishing!
