Surprise.

A lovely sunny spring day for a change.  Glancing out of the window I noticed the Daffodils under the Crab Apple Tree were showing buds.   Ah that will be blip sorted a nice shot of signs of spring.

So I wandered over camera in hand.  To my surprise down in the grass were these Crocuses (Croci?) in full flower.   They are a species crocus which we planted years ago.  I have forgotten which ones they are, in fact I had forgotten they even existed.  The large hybrid (I think) crocus are all very well but I find the various species much more attractive.
