Chasing Butterflies

Susie and I walked on Kuaotunu beach this morning, both she and I consciously choosing a slower pace and a shorter distance.  Coffee at Kua Kawhe afterwards (delicious raspberry and white chocolate muffin!).  Did a walk around the property in the afternoon to check I hadn't lost any cows or alpacas - all present and accounted for - and checked on J's glamping sites too - all good.  It's been windy today and tonight, it's beginning to sound like it might be raining too.  I do hope it blows over soon.  J has decided to stay an extra night in Akl so I get to sit an extra day.  Loving the peacefulness of this rural location - it really is very special.
