Wanderings & Witterings

Monday was another glorious day. It also marked the start of Fairtrade Fortnight and I was delighted to enjoy a Zoom trip to Palestine and 'meet' the craftspeople of the Atfaluna worskhop in Gaza City. The woodwork, embroidery, weaving, etc crafts were amazing and it was a most enjoyable hour or so.

An afternoon drive out to Carron Village followed and a long, pleasant walk in the spring sunshine along the Forth and Clyde Canal from Lock 7 to Lock 4 through a rather industrial part of Falkirk and then through Abbotshaugh Community Woodland at Langlees and along the River Carron for a spell and the cycle path back to the car park.

An early moonrise meant it was quite high in the sky by 4pm when this photo was taken. Good to see the sun still shining brightly then too. The forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is not so promising.
