Friday afternoon walk

It was lovely and sunny this morning but by the time I met my friend this afternoon it had clouded over.

We walked through the Prince Of Wales Park where there were lots of purple crocus in flower and some of the first Tete a Tete daffodil clumps I have seen.  We crossed the road to climb up to Gilstead Crags where there are great views over Bingley and up to our village of Harden as well some amazing rock formations.

Returning through the woods there were some lovely drifts of snowdrops still looking lovely. They have been fabulous through the whole month of February.  I decided to combine all these lovely spring blooms for Flower Friday today. Extra

Crossing back over the road we took in the canal and the Five Rise cafe for a cuppa before rerunning to the cars by the P o W park.

A very pleasant couple of hours to round off the week.

Happy weekend everyone

Sorry swapped the flowers for the crags above Bingley
