DERELICTION

Another day at home due to the roofers being here.  It's great for them having such glorious weather for their work but no so good being stuck at home.  Still it will only be for this week, hope the weather lasts till next week.  Managed a quick walk around the block and popped into the Abbey Manor Hotel grounds again.  

This is these very nice artefacts are really being let go now and it's such a shame.  In the extras is a photo taken in 2019 just as it dereliction was beginning to set in, but still looking quite good.  There was also a lovely well and bust back then, but they've now gone.

The roofers is someone who was recommended to me by my lovely friend CumbriaLass and I must admit they are working so hard.  The joiner stayed until 6 last night and was here again at 9 this morning.  The others turned up at 9.30 and they don't stop.  A brief stop for morning and afternoon coffees and a lunch break, of only about 30 minutes.
