Bridging

This morning we continued our exploration of the moors behind Pitlochry with a walk through and round Kinnaird Woods. 

It was really interesting as we came across the ruins of old shielings, wall and this bridge. The forest had clearly been planted round them and it really brought home to me how land use has changed over the centuries. 

A busy evening beckons - a talk from Scottish Ballet  and then book group. 

Today of course is International Women's Day  and it seems to me that the fight for women's rights is needed as much now if not more  than when I starting out my adult life Progress has been made but much still needs to be done.
