HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Happy Mother's Day to all Mums everywhere, including those that are like Mothers.  My thoughts go to those Mothers that we unable to be with their families this year and to the families themselves.

Weather-wise it's been a really wet and horrible day and we wouldn't have been able to do too much anyway.

Hubby and I visited Mum today as part of our monthly caring visit as we are her bubble, formed at Christmas.  Hopefully very soon we'll be able to meet up more often and not sit at opposite ends of the room.  

On our way over we called into Levens Hall Kitchens takeaway service and bought some of their delicious cakes (Pineapple and Coconut and Raspberry & Lemon Drizzle).  Trouble is their portions are huge so we just had to share as one slice is too big for both Mother and I.

She was so delighted she had some wonderful flowers and very thoughtful gifts. from all 4 of us children as well as some beautiful tulips in a matching vase from one of her Granddaughters.  

I've put a photo of Mum in extras with the gorgeous ENORMOUS card from my sister surrounded by just some of her flowers and gifts.
