A day in the life

Yellow and blue

Teaching, cleaning, shopping, fetching firewood, being on the phone a lot, working on projects on the computer, etc. Not a great blip day but a good day anyway, mostly spent indoors.

The sun came out briefly during the afternoon so I had a walk around the farm roads in the vicinity. One of them is known for its vast number of  Crocus and Winter aconite in the garden. My picture is a poor image of reality, the garden is far bigger than you can see, but you get the idea. Many bi-passers stop to take a picture, so did I, the only picture of the day.

The owner of the farm, a man in his early seventies has stopped farming but grows and sells vegetables and he makes toys, garden furniture, benches, shelves and other stuff from oak wood.
The name of his wood shop is; "Eksaker", a name containing a little pun that can't be translated into english. The name means plainly  'Oak things', but in swedish it's hard to read 'Eksaker' without your brain making it into 'Leksaker', which means Toys. The owner has that kind of a brain and is very playful.
