Larking About...

"All aboard the skylark", we'd cry out as we got into the car... This afternoon, after a ten kilometre yomp around the countryside earlier in the day, I took Morrigan up to Selsley Common to hunt for skylarks.

Birds in flight are always a tough challenge, and today I entirely messed it up with too slow a shutter speed. Hey ho. I did get a goodly number in frame, which was kind of a win, but nothing really excellent. I've dropped two into the extras that I really wish I'd got right.

On the other hand, the fellow on the ground is quite pleasing, stood watching me as the afternoon Sun settles over the river Severn far below. A nod, here, to CleanSteve... the challenge is still on. ;-)
