Wanderings & Witterings

Trail

Wednesday was a day that started a little overcast but brightened up and was really quite sunny for most of the afternoon. I took a wee drive over to the Greenrig Car Park at Canada Wood and followed the 4km Woodland Bird Trail.

Lots of birds to be heard, but few to be seen to this untrained (and rather inexperienced) observer. Although much of the walk was done through tall trees (the clue is in the title of the walk, of course), the route did afford the occasional good view north over Falkirk to the Ochil Hills beyond. My Blip, though, is of the path as it nears the start / end point of the waymarked trail.

But the big news of the day is that I took my 'big camera' out, and that's the first time that has happened since 19th April last year! Things must be looking up.
