There might be just one more

A busy day today. 4 hours gardening at Mum's this morning, back home for lunch, then quickly nipped up the plot to lift some leeks and a handful of purple sprouting broccoli,  before heading to George & Jeans. 2 & a bit hours gardening later I headed home again. Fab weather again today when the sun was shining but got a bit chilly this afternoon. Would'nt fancy living in G&J's home for the next month, the rooks are moving into the pine & oak trees overhead. A rookery can be pretty noisy.  I could see 4 nests, I guess there might be more before they move in permanently. They were certainly very vocal today. NOT as vocal as the male peacock in the tree at Trago yesterday, or was that the day before. Whatever.

The pattern reminds me of evening dress bead decoration.

Thanks to Ingeborg for continuing to host Abstract Thursday.
