It's been another gorgeous day and with less wind too, and while I did sit in the sunshine with my cuppas I also made a start on sandpapering the landing, something that's been on my list for weeks... probably months. 

The original wooden threshold strips are staying, but they were in a bit of a mess so I started with those. I think I'll have to get a tin of stain so that they'll match the sapele doors. I'm walking the next two days but it's good to have actually started decorating again, and I ought to force myself to do a little bit every day.
